Austin Traffic Market Recap: A Look at What’s Coming

If you saw our recent reel, Robert and I headed down to Austin this week for the biannual Traffic Show.

We were there doing a little market research (and catching a quick taco break with our guy Isaac from Add People) to pick out styles for the upcoming seasons. Buying for the store means we are usually looking nearly a year ahead to preview Spring/Summer lines, so we spent the day catching up with our reps to choose what we'll be bringing in for all of you.

A look at what we found:

• Texas Standard: We caught up with Niles to check out their new classic Texas styles—perfect for those hot summer days.
• OluKai: Chad showed us their upcoming footwear lineup. They're just as comfortable as ever, and we found some great new styles for the store.
• Kuhl: "Daddy" Kev walked us through their new outdoor clothing. They have some great pieces coming that work well whether you're working on the ranch or out for the weekend.
• Flag & Anthem: We stopped by to see "Daddy" Katie (yes, she's a woman, and she totally owns the nickname). They have some really nice everyday casual wear coming, and we're even looking at adding some of their women's line to our shelves.
• Royal Robbins & Mountain Hardwear: Andy showed us their new outdoor gear and lightweight layers. They're perfect for throwing on for a morning walk or a casual evening out.

We're really happy with what we found, and these new arrivals will be well worth the wait.
